100% Grass Fed Beef
Our Approach: Herbivores in nature exhibit three characteristics: mobbing for predator protection, daily movement onto fresh forage, and a diet consisting of forage only - no dead animals, no grain, no chicken manure, and no fermented forage. Our goal is to follow this template as closely as possible.
Our cows eat forage only, a new pasture paddock every day, and stay herded tightly with portable electric fencing. This natural model heals the land, thickens the forage, reduces weeds, stimulates the earthworms, and increases nutritional qualities in the meat.
Our cattle come from generations of carefully selected genetics for the best quality grass finished beef. These smaller cattle thrive on grass alone, and boast superb marbling which translates to the tenderest cuts.
We wait to harvest our beef until a full two years of age as grass fed animals grow slower than their feedlot counterparts. After harvest they are dry aged 14 days to increase flavor and tenderness even more.
Our cows are provided with a free choice mineral program where every animal chooses the nutrients and trace minerals to satisfy its own specific needs, further ensuring the taste and nutritional value on your plate.
